When I first watched the ESPN documentary The Rest of the Story, I was moved to tears. The story of Scott Park, who missed a half court shot by a country mile, is rich with life lessons, even if you are not a sports fan.
For over a year, the basis of a sermon rattled around in my head. And finally this past weekend, I got the chance to present one of those life lessons at Life Covenant Church in Helena. Give it a listen.
WOW!! First, what an inspiring story about Scott Park-a true inspiration of perseverance and faith. Love the way Sean tied the story into the message. I know going forward I will take more time to find out about others before making quick judgements. The timing is perfect to begin showing kindness, forgiveness and mercy to my fellow neighbors.
